Orange Coast College is a school that has been gaining popularity over the course of the last few years. Their online services center, MyOCC, gives students access to resources that would normally only be available in person.
The service is completely customizable for each user, and allows the student to choose the areas of the website that are most important to them.The service keeps students engaged, and on top of their school situation. MyOCC also connects to a number of other schools in the district, allowing the student to mix and match information that shows up between the schools that they attend.
If a student only attends OCC, they will not see any information regarding the courses, faculty, or extracurricular activities of other schools in the district. They will, however, be able to access information from any school that they did attend.
Once the student has logged in, they will be able to access their student email account, registration, any online courses that they are taking, personal calendar, transcripts and announcements.
Faculty are also able to login to their own MyOCC account, which will give them information regarding online classes, faculty rosters, attendance, calendars, human resources, finance, announcements, and grade submitting resources.
It is a wonderful addition to their website that makes it easy to find information for students and faculty alike.
