Bristol Palin $14000 Speaker Fee for Teen Moms Benefit Speech – Lifehouse, a home for pregnant and unwed mothers in Louisville, Kentucky, has hired Bristol Palin to be the speaker at the fundraiser that charges $125 per person. The group is paying Palin $14,000 for her speaking skills.
Lifehouse has hosted 17 women since it was founded in 2007, with two of those women giving their children up for adoption. The other 15 have decided to raise their children as single mothers.
Bristol Palin made headlines back in 2008 when she announced that she and her then-boyfriend, Levi Johnston, would be having a child while her mother, Sarah Palin, was running for Vice President.
Bristol and Johnson sat together at the Republican National Conference, giving America their first glance at the pregnant teen.
The couple has since broken up, although not without giving the media a few more headlines. They announced on the cover of a magazine that they were back together and would be getting married.
Only a few weeks later, again on the cover of People magazine, did Bristol announce that Johnston had played her, and that they were broken up once more.
Palin recently signed with a lecture agency last spring, although she continues to make far less than the $100,000 her mother charges for a public appearance.
