The controversial teen mother, Bristol Palin, daughter of former vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin, recently said that she hopes that her mother does run for President in 2012.
She was in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar on her views of President Barack Obama, speculation that her mother will be running for the office of president in 2012, and other subjects that cropped up during her interview.
She is only 19 years old, but apparently is wise beyond her years from her time spent growing up as the daughter of a politician, and living in the harsh Alaskan environment. She has not made any television appearances advocating abstinence since it was released that she was pregnant during her mother’s vice presidential bid.She now spends a great deal of her time raising her son Tripp. Tripp is now 15 months old.
“I thought I would be somewhere warm at college with my friend,” Bristol said in the interview. “But that was definitely not possible with having Tripp.”

Tripp’s father, Levi Johnston, who has recently appeared in Playgirl, has been called a “stranger” by Bristol and apparently is not present in the life of Tripp, whom he had promised that he would be taking care of when the news first broke. Bristol said that she feels that President Barack Obama is acting like the government can take care of everyone, which she believes is not the value that the nation was built on.
Asked whether her mother could do a better job in 2012, Bristol says, “I don’t know if my mom will run but she should.”
