iPhone Battery Issues

It seems that Apple still has some kinks to work out with their latest and greatest operating system for the iPhone. Will the iOS4 is available for upgrade on pre-existing models, it was also implemented into their newest iPhone 4 release as well. This is a very big concern because there have been numerous issues transpiring from the iOS4.

One of the biggest concerns is perhaps the battery life that users have been reporting on upgraded iOS4 iPhones. Reports are suggesting that the new operating system uses far to much battery life to operate and that the phone can only stay charged for about half as long as it was previously capable of.

For the average user this might not be a huge concern but for those who use their iPhone consistently to check emails, send messages and for other uses this can be very detrimental news. Businesses have grown furious that the OS was launched without these features being addressed.

Some reports have tested the battery life and are suggesting that it’s even worse than expected, that the battery life has been reduced even further than half of what it was with the previous OS. People are calling the horrible battery life an iOS4 power “vampire.”

Perhaps this is good news for users who demand stronger batteries. Now we can expect that Apple and battery producers will focus on creating a longer lasting lithium battery for cell phones.

However, most of us don’t have the amount of time it takes for this technology to come out and we demand better functionality with our iPhones and the new iOS4.

Multitasking was one of the most marketing new features with the new operating system. If you were to even use the multitasking capabilities to the slightest degree you probably wouldn’t have battery life an hour or so later, so what’s its use?

These features seriously impact the battery life of the phone deeming them seemingly useless.
