With his 17th birthday fast approaching, Canadian popstar Justin Bieber’s thoughts will be turning to what gifts he will receive on his special day.
Whereas most kids his age would be hankering after an iPad, BlackBerry or similar, the Biebs is looking forward to getting his very own home for his birthday.
His mother, Pattie Mallette, and his grandmother have been househunting for the pint-size ‘Baby’ hitmaker, and their search has landed them at the door of a $1.7m condo in Westwood, Los Angeles – incidentally the home town of his rumored girlfriend, Disney princess Selena Gomez.
The 2,400sq ft contemporary condo boasts 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a beautiful modern kitchen and a large flat screen TV. The monthly maintenance costs for the pad is $1,300, which would give the Biebs access to a gym and spa, an indoor heated swimming pool and a party room. This may sound like a expensive place to live, but we don’t think it will make much of a dent in Bieber’s $100m income.
Bieber’s career is going from strength to strength, with a new album release just around the corner as well as the release of his first movie, a 3D biopic with the same name as his album, ‘Never Say Never’.
