Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber is reported to wanting a transformation of his image like that of older teen heartthrob Justin Timberlake.
He’s so intent on this transformation that he’s hired songwriter Sean Garrett to aid him in this quest. The collaboration follows up on Bieber’s hit album “My World 2.0″. Garrett is the songwriter for such superstars as Britney Spears, Usher, and others. Bieber is attempting to rise further in the spotlight by having Garrett as his right hand man.
According to Billboard, Garrett states that the 16-year-old Bieber is steering toward a more adult sound with his music and that Timberlake’s success at such a move is the inspiration for the drive.
The move is due to Bieber’s maturing and they want his present fans to move along with him as that age group is rising as well. Making a successful transition is only common sense as that demographic is the bull-work of Bieber’s sales. As they grow older, Bieber naturally wants to keep them coming back for more.
It only makes sense that Bieber gets on the ball to this transition now and Garrett’s achievements in the songwriting arena are a welcome move to ensure that that he continues his meteoric rise in popularity. Losing that fan base could be catastrophic to the young entertainer’s career and Garrett appears to be the man to help.
